May Day at Peckleton

The Peckleton Partnership involving Peckleton Church, Peckleton village Hall and Peckleton Arts announce an exciting variety of community events to take place on Bank Holiday Monday 3rd May.

Taking place in Peckleton Church with ample free parking nearby the day will include exhibitions, Church bell and Handbell workshops and demonstrations, Maypole dancing and a Tea Dance to the live music of Sounds Familiar. This community event will raise funds for Peckleton Village Hall as well as benefitting Peckleton Church.

10am – 4pm Exhibitions
Church & Village Records, Art, Creative Textiles, early farming implements and the Village Millennium Album.

10.45am Church bell Workshop and Demonstration

11.45am Handbell Workshop and Demonstration

2.30pm Maypole dancing

4.30 – 6.30pm Tea Dance to Sounds Familiar Ticket £5

Entrance to Church £2 until 4.00pm
Children free
Refreshments available throughout the day.
